Three takeaways from Lando's appearance on the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon last night:
- Unlike many of us Landon Donovan is far better actual soccer than video game soccer.
- The Late Show is has love for MLS (see Thierry Henry's PK shootout a few weeks ago).
- Jimmy Fallon is the personification of the term "manchild," possibly in not-so-good way.

Anyone else notice that Jimmy's 2nd goal was actually Landon's turn continued? I demand a recount!
Yeah that's how it works in the Arena mode in FIFA. He'd have to kick it out of bounds for it to reset. Landon friggin sucks at FIFA. I don't know how you don't score a goal in that.

Actually, I thought Landon was supposed to be good at this game. Didn't he win some big EA Sports competition a couple of years ago?
(And I feel like I've seen his USMNT teammates say he's the best of the bunch.)

I sensed a bit of "I actually don't like this guy" coming from Donovan. LD certainly is developing some swagger. I believe Zidane wore that same outfit to received the World Player award. Classy.
