part of me is really excited about the prospect that such a well-known player who, while at the twilight of his career, would instantly be one of the top players in MLS is about to join MLS/Red Bulls. everyone knows he's here mainly for his name value (despite the most recent world cup debacle) but would certainly increase the level of this team on the field, even if it comes in training.
On the other hand, part of me (cynic?) wants to see this campaign be Red Bull flexing their "marketing muscle" and capitalizing on all of those rumors and will actually end up signing a player that is...well....on par with the history of "big player" acquisitions in the club...

time will tell...
Why do the Red Bulls get to have all the fun?
14 is also a certain player's number when they were at Arsenal.
He didn't play in the world cup other than subbing in at the end of a couple lost causes.
Henry is a bench player my ass. Only at Barca, dumbass.
he won't be a bench player at NYRB because NYRB sucks... anybody can make the starting lineup of that team... all you need is two legs.
