Y'all seen these renderings of Crystal Palace Baltimore's proposed stadium? It's pretty special. I like that they don't try and do too much but do one simple thing right by making it intimate. With a full roof and three sides of mid-sized stands (as oppossed to four sides of smaller stands) this joint looks as cozy as an evening in front of the fireplace with a Snuggie, a courvoisier & the celebrity crush of your choice. In short, "if they build it, I will come".

How much is rent gonna be for DC United?
They need to update the rendering since they changed the name of the club to Crystal Palace Baltimore officially. Happy they did, because Crystal Palace USA is terrible.

Definitely looks like a lower league stadium ala English League 1 & 2. I like it a lot. Simple, yet better suited for footie than a lot of MLS stadiums, I'm looking at you Pizza Hut and Toyota Parks.

I wouldn't hold my breathe on the stadium actually looking like this once/if it does get built. 9 times out of 10 renderings like these are made extra pretty to drum up interest and then once it actually gets to construction, things change, look at Philly.
I love it! My family lives in Baltimore and I would come up for matches regularly! Gonna try to catch a CP match or two this year regardless. Kind of wish they'd go for a new name though. :-/

It can says "CPFCUSA" all it wants. Everyone knows they're shooting for United, and everyone knows that United might consider the offer. And then the most storied club in MLS history would be no more. It would be reverse Baltimore Colts times 20.
