For the record the very last website on the planet I would ever expect to see a story paralleling the alleged Harkes-Wynalda affair to the current John Terry-Wayne Bridge scandal is FoxNews.com. That's not a typo; the story is not on FoxSoccer.com but FoxNews.com?! It's just too bizarre...I can't even comment on it any further because I'd hate to get brain matter from my soon-to-explode head all over my fellow passengers on the bus I am currently riding.

I can't comment on the "bro-code" bit too much but I think maybe Roy might have had good intentions. But that's not my business.
I will say I respect Waldo for being brave enough to deal with the issue so publicly. Had to take a lot of stones to do that.
Don't be too surprised, SF. If it's salacious Fox will run it. Anything to get eyeballs. It's a specialty of theirs: "This video is unacceptably crude! Look at how unacceptably crude this video is!"
Actually, as much as I think Fox is absolute garbage for "real" news, they are fantastic at footy news. Easily the best.

Similarities: Captain sleeping with another teammate's WAG Differences: 2010 England squad are a great deal more professional that the 98 US squad; JT is a starting while Bridge is an injured back up (Harkes and Wynalda were both starters); JT is well known for cheating on his wife (girlfriend at the time); this is affair isn't still going on whereas the Harkes one was... Hum what else am I missing? Oh ya the 2010 England squad actually has talent unlike the 98 US squad.
