This would be cool if it wasn't a bunch of foreign ringers.
I used to play in the psal for cardozo high school 10 years ago and it wasn't a secret they always fielded over age players. Most were came from africa who had no proper documentation as far as birth certificates were concerned so their real ages were always questionable.
the team being "a bunch of foreign ringers" is EXACTLY what makes MLK High's success so cool.

Improper birth certificates are nothing new down here in Dallas. I see U11 players sporting mustaches and looking a head taller than the white kids. I can't say that I would not want to give my child an "edge" (on the pitch and in the classroom) if I were moving to a foreign country.
