Video: Toronto FC Get Shock Professional Athlete Treatment
Will you just look at that? Supporters, news crews, wives and children showing up to meet Toronto FC players upon their return home from winning the Nutrilite Canadian Championship. It's like they just returned from a military tour of duty somewhere. Incredible.
You know my club were Western Conference champs of '08 and we didn't even give them so much as a pizza party & a sheet cake in the rec room of the Seacacus YMCA so this makes me feel kind of ashamed of myself. But good for T-Dot...you are Kings of Canuckistan.

Congrats, TFC is better than two USL teams. The Carolina Challenge Cup has better competition.

You win the Carolina Cup Challenge and nobody meets the team to congratulate them. You win the US Open Cup and nobody comes to see you after.
Heck, you win the MLS Cup and nobody shows up to congratulate you at the airport.
Canada loves soccer. Americans could learn from that. Have some respect in your US Open Cup.
Just a FYI, Secaucus does not have a YMCA, although Hoboken does....

The rest of MLS has learned not to support mediocrity. Toronto and Seattle are still young so they haven't learned yet.

When the Crew came back with the MLS cup there were hundreds of people at the airport to greet them, but like James said above, the rest of us only celebrate when it's something worth celebrating.
