Nice! Love the sweeping strings that make it sound larger than life. The girls remind of the video for Beck's "New Pollution".
Get used to it. Word on the "skreet" is that the 60's will be for 2009 what the 80's were for 2008.
unlike those of a certain generation that shall remain nameless, i hesitate to say the sixties were any better or worse than any other decade. but surely you're not saying this is better than anything recorded in the sixties.
This was definitely my favorite album of the year. In addition, the song "Hang the Cyst" on their Standing Next to Me single is incredible and is worth checking out. Also, see if you can't find their cover of "S.O.S."
