Harkes: US "is playing too safe"

Harkes

Johnny Harkes thinks that the US mens national team still has room to grow. He says “we’re playing well, but we’re not playing great.” He is captain for life after all, so he may know what he's talking about. Plus, he's bucking for more caps for Freddy & Jozy so I'm kinda feeling what he's saying.

I'm feelin it too.

What I am not feelin is that shirt. Apparently, at the time that pic was taken, Harkesy had not yet discovered the magic of collar stays...

Three buttons are a little 90's, Mr. Wayne.

I agree with pretty much everything he's saying, but why do I get the feeling Harkes is making these comments simply to start positioning himself at the head of the line once Bob Bradley's job becomes available?

Don't care what his motive is, it's just nice to hear *someone* speak up.

Robo Bradley is so underqualified to take us to where we want and need to be it's ridiculous.

I'm gonna burn a Bradley effigy if we get bounced out the first round of the WC.
